Quesos Azael is a family-owned and operated food producer located in Jalisco, Mexico.  They have been selling high-quality foods in the Bahía de Banderas for over 30 years.  The company employs over 25 families from three states: Michoacán, Jalisco, and Nayarit.

I started to work with the patriarch, José as a partner in over 10 markets along the bay, and within that  6 months ( 2023/2024 season)  he realized my prowess was in everything marketing!  I spent the season organically learning the ins & outs of Quesos Artesanals Azael - what was on Azael's client checklist and why they keep coming back!

I was brought back the next season and entrusted implicitly to represent the company's marketing in its entirety.   I set out to elevate the brand identity to match the excellence of the high-quality natural food products that Azael produces.  I  implemented a top-to-bottom visual refresh of the logo, packaging, signage,  creation of their first website (e-commerce when they're able to service clients in this way), and much more. Our rebrand presents the company in a professional and cohesive way that strongly resonates with a new generation of foodies who are cognisant of the foods they eat!

Despite José's limited English of numbers and basic words, and my Spanish resembling Spanglish, we still managed to accomplish so much in the 2023/2024 season. It's truly remarkable when you think about it.
